Anna Mitjà Comas |

November 5 to December 21, 2018
Opening on December 6, 2018 at 5pm

As part of an exchange with the Bòlit Centre d’Art Contemporani in Catalonia and the support of Institut Ramon Llull, LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE receives the artist Anna Mitjà Comas from the city of Girona. The artist is in residency from November 5 to December 21, 2018 and the opening will take place on December 6, 2018 at 5pm.

For this project, Anna Mitjà Comas is interested in the concept of collage as an experience of life among personas. Collage seen as a cut-and-paste of non-deliberated moments which touch us. Mitjà Comas is interested in movement, storytelling and memory.

In her production, Anna Mitjà Comas explores the documentary, the fiction genre and recently started with experimental film. During her residency, she uses partly the work in progress of her first feature film Les pedres / Stones not only to explore the film as a video and cinematographic material, but also the space of the gallery as a new space to reflect on her own practice. The resources available in our laboratories will be used to design ways to communicate audiovisual elements differently. Exhibiting Cinema Collage will be a pretext to discover new path of exploration in her practice.
