We are pleased to welcome Symon Henry, composer and artist, who is in research residency at LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE until December 22. During his residency, Henry will study the graphic score to create an ephemeral space of creative autonomy. Without being entirely a musical object, nor exclusively a visual object, his works are from both fields of practice. Henry will study other approaches and reflections similar to his own specifically related to the graphic score and its current use in Québec. We invite the public for an informal concert of the EMIQ (Ensemble de musique improvisée de Québec) on Sunday, December 17 at 1pm at LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE. For the occasion, the ensemble will interpret Symon Henry's graphic scores.
