Marie-Pier Lachance lives and works in Montreal while being a candidate for a master's degree in visual arts at Université Laval in Quebec city. She is a multidisciplinary artist and uses a variety of mediums as vectors for her ideas. Currently, she specializes in video and sound art, paper and digital collage, as well as installation. She has been interested for several years in the appropriation and recontextualization of archival material, whether it comes from the public or private domain.
