« If at this exact moment the sun stopped shining, this would have no immediate incidence earth. During approximately 8 minutes, time for the solar light to reach us, we would be living what is left of this event […]. » Pablo Rasgado is interested in time and in its appearances. During his residency at LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE, he suggests realizing a series of sculptures and environments which he names « Fantômes ». Through the elaboration of his artwork, he wishes to study a specific facet of time: the past and its irreversibility. With a series of assembled objects in which the previous and the afterwards mixes, the artist wants to juxtapose different times in the same space. Objects will be the determining elements of the artwork: they will be receivers of time, relics of their own stories.
