Born in 1974 in Argentina, Mariana Gullco studied at l’École national d’art plastique and at l’université nationale autonome de Mexico. She presented individual exhibits and won prices and bursaries also in Mexico. She is particularly interested in the use of domestic substances, going as far as to juxtapose waste and public art in her installations. For her project at LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE, she explores the conceptual and plastic possibilities of such substances, reminding us that we live in a world where individuals and consumption are highly intertwined.
