For some time now, Marc Dulude's work has been based on the idea of phenomena, either by working with optical effects, or by working with matter, or by altering the normal use of objects. During this residency, the artist will stage the phenomena and epiphenomena which originate from nature or from the field of mental interpretation. Perceived as a laboratory, this context will allow the artist to document the multiple manipulations, constructions and especially transformations of the phenomena that he will stage. He will try to bring out the different aspects which constitute them, and the narrative possibilities that they can offer. The artwork/experimentations realized during this residency will be an expression of these phenomenological statements, as well as a representation of the relation and of the physical interpretation that we can maintain with them.
